It's supposed to be the one of some literary and emotional significance, as it's the one where thoughts are formed, beliefs confirmed. Cities crumble, people are bought and sold: the audience laughs so hard they cry and cry so hard they laugh. Succinct, delicate, self-deprecating, self-righteous, bloody, and loud.
